Left: Justice Louis D. Brandeis
This year promises to be great with lots of activities to keep you entertained and informed. Come and see your old friends, meet some new ones, have a ‘nosh’, and dive back into the swing of things with BNC.
We are excited to have a presentation by Carol Clingan from ‘Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston’ (JGSGB). Carol will introduce us to the importance of Jewish Genealogy and provide steps to begin your own personal ancestry exploration.
The JGSGB was formed in 1982 as a study group for people searching for their Jewish family history and is now a charitable organization with over 800 members. They are affiliated with over seventy Jewish Genealogy Societies worldwide. JGSGB hosted the International Conference on Jewish Genealogy in Boston in 1996 and 2013.
Carol comes to us with a broad range of skills in various research techniques and is happy to help others interested in Jewish family research.
