Annual Book and Author Luncheon

Please join us for our most important fundraising event of the year. Whether you've been involved from the beginning, are just learning about our mission, or are a friend of a member, your presence makes a difference. Together we can make this our most impactful fundraiser yet. Our efforts will raise funds to establish a BNC Professorship in Engineering Sciences and support the launch of an innovative interdepartmental program.

Author Christina Hillsberg will discuss her book, Agents of Change: The Women Who Transformed the CIA, which includes her exclusive interviews with current and former female CIA officers who have never spoken publicly about their stories set against the backdrop of the women's movement of the 1960's.

Christina is a former CIA intelligence officer and writer. She has been an analyst for the White House as well as an Operations Officer, clandestinely collecting intelligence from the field. She has had a successful and impactful career at the CIA.

Please join us to hear this fabulous speaker, shop the latest fashion boutiques, enjoy a scrumptious lunch, and purchase a surprise gift card. Invitations will be emailed in early March. If you are not yet a member and would like to be put on our mailing list join here.

Gropius House Visit in Lincoln

Friday, March 13, 2026 - 11AM

We will visit Gropius House in Lincoln MA, an Historic New England site. This home is the family residence of the Modernist architect Walter Gropius, a founder of the Bauhaus School in Weimar, Germany. The family came to New England in 1937, forced to leave Germany because of his association with "degenerate " modernism. The home combines elements of New England architecture with elements from the Bauhaus workshop.
